Finally or Skybox on Quest 3?
Pick Skybox if the virtual living room is half the product. Environments, a polished Unity UI, and a gigantic review count. Pick Finally if the product is your library — local + NAS, no Finally account, no telemetry, projection that sticks, a lean native install. Skybox is the default recommendation in old threads. Finally is the free install those threads do not mention yet.

Skybox’s watch-together is a server product. Finally’s is two headsets on your LAN with the same bytes — no Meta login to start a movie night. Different machines.

Is Finally a Skybox alternative?
Yes if you want a free Quest player for local files and NAS/SMB with no Finally account. Skybox still wins virtual environments, a huge review base, and cloud watch-together.
Is Skybox or Finally better for NAS?
Finally supports SMB with a guided share picker. It does not require a Finally account, but your server may require its own username and password. Check the current SKYBOX listing for supported network sources and account requirements.
